Clean The World®
Pacifica Hotels is a proud recycling partner with Clean the World, the largest global recycler of hotel soaps and bottled amenities. Clean the World’s hospitality partnership program lends corporate support to all participating Pacifica Hotels properties and provides implementation training, collection supplies, and shipping for all guest room amenities collected each day.
There is a substantial amount of unavoidable waste in the hospitality business, particularly when it comes to bath amenities. Clean the World ensures that soap and other products are collected, recycled and sanitized, then distributed worldwide to improve health conditions for people around the world. Each day, thousands of children worldwide die from preventable illness and diseases because the essential items for proper hygiene are inaccessible. Since 2009, Clean the World has distributed more than 15.5 million bars of soap.
In addition to the humanitarian benefits of the hospitality program, Clean the World has kept tons of these discarded products that have detrimental effects on the environment, out of landfills and groundwater systems.
Pacifica Hotels is proud to be one of more than 1,200 participating hospitality partners, and since 2011 we have collectively contributed 2,995 pounds (1.5 tons) of soap and 1,968 pounds (.9 tons) of bottled amenities to the program. View the participating Pacifica Hotels properties below:
