SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -Imagine a corporate event at Pacifica Hotel Company's Half Moon Bay Lodge where your participants can be carted to a Drive-In Movie Night, complete with bell hops, popcorn, cotton candy and adult beverages, all taking place overlooking the Pacific and one California's most beautiful golf courses with magnificent ocean views. This is just one of the all-inclusive packages from which meeting planners can select, and they all include team building leisure-time and recreational activities that nurture cooperation and esprit de corps among conferees.

The Morning Scramble package, for example, includes a 2-1/2 hour team building session, starting with buffet breakfast, followed by a shotgun start on the back nine of the Arnold Palmer- designed Half Moon Bay Golf Links course. Participants receive rental clubs, sleeve of balls, green fees, cart and tournament staging area.

Meeting planners can also select the "Nine and Wine," featuring nine holes of golf with wine tasting. Attendees can either wine-taste before they tee off, savoring a different varietal at each station, or choose an after-golf reception that features regional wines and appetizers or dinner. A professional staff member can present the wine or create a contest to see who can identify the wine being tasted. Green fees and rental clubs are included, with tee times beginning at 4:00 pm.

Half Moon Bay Lodge will also arrange a "horse race" golf tournament package and, miniature golf package, as well as themed parties ranging from Western BBQ to a Caribbean Theme.
