San Francisco Coast

AREA HOTELS

AREA OVERVIEW

Half Moon Bay is known as a charming oceanfront village just a short drive from the excitement of San Francisco. The mood here is distinctively casual but with an undeniable ambiance of elegance. Don't be surprised to see Redwood forests, organic vegetable farms, and an eclectic variety of restaurants and inns.

Pacifica is a bit closer to San Francisco, but still offers that relaxed coolness for which California's coast is known. The town of Pacifica sits on five valleys and the surrounding area is protected open space. Within the town, visitors and residents enjoy many parks and recreation areas. Especially lovely are the coves along the coastline, where water sports of every kind are a common sight.
