Pacifica Hotel Company Announces Changes in Hilton Garden Inn Properties

SANTA BARBARA, CA - Pacifica Hotel Company, which owns and operates quality coastal hotels from San Diego to San Francisco, announced that it has sold its Hilton Garden Inn property in Rancho San Bernardo, CA and is nearing completion on the construction of another Hilton Garden Inn property in Port. St. Lucie, FL.

Pacifica built the Rancho San Bernardo property in 2004 in conjunction with Leddy Ventures Limited, a hospitality investment advisory and management services company headquartered in San Antonio, TX. The hotel, which was managed by Presidian Destinations, Leddy's management arm, is part of the Park Terrace Commercial Center, a high-end development containing office space, several attractive restaurants, a church, and a public library. Apple Suites REIT purchased the Rancho San Bernardo hotel for $34.5 million. Construction on the Port St. Lucie property, which is being developed in conjunction with the PGA, began in 2005 and the hotel is expected to open in November 2006.

"The Port St. Lucie Hotel has a unique location adjacent to the PGA Learning Center, which offers world-class facilities that include three championship golf courses."

The Village also has one of the world's largest and most advanced practice facilities and is the home of PGA of America Golf Schools, one of the nation's top golf academies.
